It was a very special day for Jordan and Taylor today. Taylor was formally given her name of Taylor Jane Turner and given a special blessing by John. My parents and my sister Michelle were able to come for the blessing. John's parents were planning to come as well until Mom Turner got sick - thank goodness she is doing much better. Taylor's dress was made by my mom. She also wore a little sweater that my great grandmother, Grandma Bunker, made for me. We also wrapped her in a crocheted blanket made by Grandma Bunker.
Also, since Jordan just turned 16 he was able to advance to the next level in the Aaronic priesthood today. One of his new opportunities is to participate in the blessing of the sacrament which he did this morning. John performed both of these blessings and Johnathan participated in both as well. It was such a great day!
