He is Home!

Our handsome missionary is home! We flew in about an hour before Johnathan landed so John & Taylor waited at his gate to surprise him! There Taylor is waiting for his plane.

The Big Girl Bed

 The last part of Taylor's birthday was graduating from the crib to her new bed! I was ready to have Tatum out of our room but not ready to have Taylor by herself so the girls are sharing a room! so far so good - a few times I've heard more laughing (by Tatum!) than sleeping but overall its working!

Cinderella Celebrates Taylor's 3rd Birthday!

Cinderella came for a visit for Taylor's birthday ! It was so fun to have a Cinderella theme since she is one of Taylor's favorites and we have a dress that still fits! And it just so happens that Riley also has a Cinderella dress and was available to be our special guest.

At first Taylor was a bit shy at her party, but that didnt hold back our other princesses from having a great time!

John & I had fun making the cake - it was two cake mixes - one baked in two 9-in round pans and one (french vanilla - it was yummy!) was backed in the Pampered Chef pancake batter glass bowl at 250 degrees for an hour and fifteen minutes. I made them a week earlier and froze them because my time is so limited, but it made it great to work with when John cut the round cakes to fit the base of the dome and cut the hole in the middle of all of the cakes to fit our Barbie Cinderella. We used a can of white frosting to keep the layers together and do a crumb coating when John built the cake on Friday night and then Saturday I decorated the cake with this wonderful, easy  frosting. Very fun!

I piped on sleeves to make the Cinderella doll more modest (she is wrapped in saran wrap inside the cake!)

These girls play so well together. Their moms are holding a little preschool and they invited Taylor to their class even though I can't take a turn rotating. They are so good to us!

Five Months!

 The time is flying by but our little Tatum is already 5 months. She is such a happy baby, a real joy to be around. Here she is in a little antique dress that KelleyAnne lent us. So sweet and delicate!

Taylor's Actual Birthday

Taylor is three and we are so in love with our sweet girl! Here she is in her birthday dress from KelleyAnne. She made the headband too. Isnt it darling?!

We love Taylor's sweet spirit - she is so kind and loving. She sometimes is shy but usually is very friendly and will say hi to anyone. She freely gives kisses and hugs and tells you she "loves you very much." She adores her baby sister and loves to give her lots of attention. She loves everything Disney - Toy Story, Mickey Mouse Club, Little Einsteins, Jack & The Neverland Pirates, but her heart is truly in love with all the princesses. She has two princess dresses and she will wear them every day if you let her. Her various princess dolls are tucked in their "beds" she makes all over the house and she loves them all with such intent. She loves her big brothers and constantly talks about them. She is very polite and even when you ask her to do something like clean up her toys, she says, "No thank you!" She loves to snuggle and she still sucks her fingers, but knows only in her bed. We love you, Taylor Jane!!!

Taylor is Growing Up

Hanging out with the guys late at night - she was content to watch Mickey on Mason's phone while the guys watched funny YouTube clips.

She is really tall! 99% percentile for height - I added the ruffle on the bottom of this cute dress since it was too short!

Here she is pretending she is sleeping beauty - she is waiting for her prince (daddy) to give her a kiss to wake her up!

Watching Enchanted for the first time and loving it!

First day of school at Kingsland Baptist. She goes one day a week - Fridays from 9-2:30 and loves it. She gets to take her lunch and nap mat for a rest with her classmates. Its really cute.

And she got her new backpack too!
