More Zoo Time

We made it back to the zoo again during the break with our good friends. Taylor loves being with the big kids and had to follow them by having her own map too!

What A Wonderful Day!

Twas the night before Christmas....we enjoyed a great Christmas Eve lunch with our neighbors and then read the Christmas Nativity story and ate our clam chowder.

Christmas Morning!

And a cute cow for our cute baby!

Lots of fun toys for Tatum that she can call her own!
Cars that Taylor picked out for Tatum

Our leftover cinnamon rolls we enjoyed after church while we opened the rest of our gifts! I loved going to church on Christmas morning. It was perfect. We opened our Santa gifts before church and then enjoyed a beautiful service at 9am and then came home at 10:30 to open more gifts and enjoy our cinnamon rolls. We then had our traditional biscuits and gravy after all the gifts were opened. It was perfect. And then we had long naps and a lovely dinner with the Brannings. A beautiful day to celebrate our Savior's birth - not rushed, tons of family time, and wonderful Spirit.
And a new gnome for the collection. Go BYU!

A New Favorite Tradition

We have always loved viewing the Christmas lights in River Oaks but now we have made it a tradition with the McLaughlins, Brannings and Poultons. We visited our friend Alex in the hospital and had a fabulous dinner at Ruggles Cafe in Rice Village. Then we headed over to River Oaks to enjoy the lights. What a fun night and a great tradition to do it together (three years strong!)

Taylor was so excited to meet Santa and tell him she wanted a "Punzel"  doll (Rapunzel from Tangled). She was beside herself with joy - it was so fun to see her face light up and soak it all in. She talked about how she wanted to give him a hug on Christmas when he brought her doll to her!

Our sweet family - Tatum's first visit to Santa!

All of these pictures taken above are at this house. They live on a corner and hire Santa to come for the public and let the public up on their lawn to visit Rudolph, see the lights, and meet Santa. It is so generous!

She made sure she said goodbye to Santa when we left!
This candy cane house is one of our favorites. The pictures do not due it justice, but it is so much fun how they wrap the red and white lights around their trees and have these light balls hanging. Its gorgeous!

Mason took these pictures under a different tree that had lights hanging from the limbs like a weeping willow. It was amazing!

These trees were so densely lit - it was beautiful!
The kids always find this angel a bit creapy...

A few more of the many beautiful homes that decorate for us all to enjoy!Thank you!!!
