The Amish farms and markets are some of our favorite places to visit. We have been coming to this area since I was in kindergarten. We packed it in that day, but loved it, even in the fall when the farms are not in full season.

We visited Intercourse, PA where there are cute shops, beautiful quilts, farm animals, and festivities.
Taylor fell in love with the pony and waited a long time for her ride! Here she is talking to him and brushing him.

We made our traditional stop in Straussburg at the ice cream parlor on Main Street.
This is the farm where we always stop at their produce stand for yummy cookies and baked goods. The key is to go with my mom because she knows this place so well - every back road to see all the gorgeous farms, etc. I made her promise we will all vacation back here when my girls are older so she will be our tour guide!
