A Fun Visit with Johnathan and Grandma & Grandpa Turner

John came to visit us for a week after he arrived back from the Domincan Republic. Taylor loved how much he played with her. She could not get enough of her "John John".
She is a good little worker too!

Don't they look alike?
John made us yummy Domincan food - it was really fun to have him share some of his favorite dishes

Grandpa & Grandma Turner came to see him and hear him speak at church. It was so fun to have them here for a weekend!
The girls with their hats that Grandma made for them!

BYU Homecoming!!!

We had the great opportunity to visit Jordan and attend BYU's homecoming weekend. It was so fun to all be in Utah and enjoy the festivities. We started Saturday morning bundled up for the Homecoming Parade squished in our single stroller because it was so cold!

Jordan is with the drumline warming up for the parade
John and his cheerleading partner, Susie, and her daughter Hallie who cheers now for BYU
 The parade!

Jordan is on the far end
We ran into Marilyn's in-laws, the Pikes, at the parade!

And Rob & Liz and their cute gang (we had dinner with them the night before but didn't know we would see them at the parade too!)

Visited the BYU bookstore - Go Cougars!

 Walked around campus
Then we got to enjoy the game that night with both of our parents. Since John was a cheerleader, he got to join all the alumni cheerleaders on the field during half time to perform the fight song.
 John and his partner Susie
John and his sister, Shellie, who cheered the year after he did at BYU
THere he is showing off his skills across the field - I missed grabbing a video clip of his back flips!

 Doing a lift with Susie
Then the band performed so we got to see Jordan in action

Got to see Sarah from back home - she is loving her freshman year!
We met up with the band for "5th Quarter" - their performance outside of the stadium
So fun to see Jordan up close!

 I love this picture!
Sunday afternoon we got to enjoy a few of the fall colors when we drove Provo Canyon to see Bridal Veil Falls.

Such a fun trip!!! We loved it!
